History of Chamber
The Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce was originally created in 1936 to fulfill a need for tourism information; the organization was reformed in 1964 as a Chamber of Commerce to better serve the needs of the business community in the County.
A little known fact regarding the Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce: The official Highlands of Haliburton Tartan was originally commissioned by the Chamber back in 1963.

Nowadays, the Chamber provides a wide variety of functions. We advocate to all levels of government, encourage Chamber members and businesses to use local resources first, and we are proud to represent & promote more than 350 members of the local businesses in the Haliburton Highlands.
