Do you have a passion for Business? Interested in making a difference in the Haliburton Highlands?

The Haliburton Highlands Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking to fill volunteer Board of Director Positions, to compliment our current Board of Directors.

We are looking for volunteers who:
* Are community minded with an interest in local businesses
* Possess leadership qualities and are unbiased
* Have an entrepreneurial spirit
* Have previous experience with a board (an asset but not mandatory)
* Can commit to a minimum of one meeting a month
* Can commit to a minimum of a two year term
* Are creative thinkers with fresh idea’s
(Interested applicants must be a Chamber Member who is in good standing)

Volunteers who are interested in contributing to the Board of Directors, should forward a letter with Resume/CV. Resumes will be reviewed by the Executive Committee. Thereafter a motion to approve the Board of Slate will be presented at the AGM on Thursday September 15th, 2011 upon a vote of the attending members.
