Tour de Forest founders, stained glass artist Tom Green, potter Barb Peel, and fibre artist Jane Selbie, continue to offer exciting, innovative work.

The tour runs through Haliburton and Minden to Carnarvon and West Guilford. Each studio features the work of the studio artist and up to four guest artists. For example, painter Laurie O’Reilly’s guest artists are her two sisters, potter Colleen Ferdinands and photographer Elaine O’Reilly. The compact format allows outlying studios, such as fibre artist Laura Trach’s Orange Cat Studio, Sopia Tink’s Jewellery Art Studio, or painter Sandi Slote’s studio to be easily included in a day trip.

Brochures are available at locations throughout the county, including Rails’ End Gallery and Minden Hills Cultural Centre. To find out more about the artists and their work, visit our website <a href="http://www.haliburtontourdeforest.com"target=_blank">www.haliburtontourdeforest.com the Tour de Forest facebook page, phone 705-286-1725 or email tourdeforest1@gmail.com Finally, all visitors have the chance to win a $200 gift certificate! It’s like having a bowling alley in your living room as you enjoy the cozy, warm atmosphere with friends, while you play. The Fast Lane music is always upbeat and tailored to our guests; it ranges from show tunes, children’s music and standards to disco, top 40 and classic rock. Our “nightclub” glow-in-the-dark bowling is always a hit and adds a definite party atmosphere in the evenings.

The Fast Lane is fully licensed, and you’ll be sure to enjoy our homemade pizza and theatre style popcorn. Plus you can always find a treat at our old-fashioned penny candy counter. We’re also an Internet café (for bowlers only) so you can catch up while the kids play.
