The purpose of this Society is to advance Education by improving the public’s understanding and awareness of cultural history by hosting events, displays, exhibitions and performances and producing educational material.

Membership in this Society is open to any person interested in the History of the area. The annual fee is $20.00 per year, or $30.00 per couple if living at the same address. Non-members are asked to pay $5.00 to attend single meetings. We encourage everyone to take out a membership as it covers all the meetings for the year. The meetings are generally held the third Thursday of the month at 1:30 pm. They are not always at the same location as the Society is striving to be present in all areas of Haliburton County. Local newspapers and radio stations kindly advertise the upcoming meetings.

Step of Grace, (PRCC), is at the forefront of this thinking. “Bridging the gap between health care & fitness.”

With the aging of ‘zoomers, (baby boomers 50 – 62 and older), comes a demand for opportunities to improve or maintain quality of life.
