Janet Sheehey has just opened a new store in Haliburton Village that specializes in knitted fur.

What’s knitted fur? Well it’s an application of twisting fur into usable strands suitable for knitting. Over 25 years of research and refinements have resulted in an unparalleled, washable fur yarn.

The new store located on Main Street in Haliburton Village features regular yarn as well as fur yarn,and a full stock of fur knitting kits. All kits are custom made to order. Fur is expensive so the kits are geared to make items that are affordable. People don’t need a machine for the kit. They can make hats, scarves, mits, shawls, shrugs and jackets from the kits.
